Embassy of the Slovak Republic Announces Small Grants Program 2021 with SlovakAid Financial Support

THE EMBASSY OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC IN TBILISI ANNOUNCES A CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR SMALL GRANTS FOR 2021

1. PROVIDER
This aid modality of the Slovak Official Development Assistance is funded from SlovakAid and is aimed directly at small-scale projects which represent a more flexible, operative and effective financial support for developing countries.

2. AMOUNT REQUESTED
The maximum amount of the non-repayable financial contribution is maximum 10 000 EUR per project.
A maximum number of the selected projects are limited by the budget allocated for this call for proposals.


3. PROJECT DURATION
The duration of each project is from 6 to a maximum of 12 months beginning from the date of the signing of the Agreement between the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation and the Final Beneficiary.

4. SECTOR PRIORITIES
The submitted projects must be related to sectors of Quality education, Good health, Good Governance and Civil Society building, Food security and Agriculture, Infrastructure and sustainable use of natural resources, Support for the creation of a market environment.

The proposals must be in accordance with the Strategy of the Slovak Republic for Development Cooperation for 2019– 2023. Project proposals which are not in line with the focus of this call for proposals will not be accepted.

5. ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
The call for proposals is open to registered legal persons:
NGOs, non-profit subjects and local authorities.

6. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION
The deadline for submission of project proposals is March 31, 2021. The project proposals should be sent electronically to emb.tbilisi@mzv.sk.

After the PRELIMINARY CONSENT to draw up project, the application should be sent both electronically to emb.tbilisi@mzv.sk and in hard copy to the Embassy of the Slovak Republic, Mtskheta str. 13, 0179, Tbilisi, Georgia by May 31, 2021.

Hard-copy applications (completed, signed and stamped) with relevant accompanying documentation (registration documents of the applicant organization and CVs of the key representatives responsible for project implementation in English) should be sent to the Slovak Embassy.

Step 1:
Read carefully „CALL FOR PROPOSALS SMALL GRANTS 2021“ and „Guidance 03/02/2021“ and „Infographic - How to complete project successfully“

Step 2:
Fill out “Template for project proposal” and send it just electronically to emb.tbilisi@mzv.sk by March 31,2021.

Step 3:
After the PRELIMINARY CONSENT to draw up project (template for project proposal), fill out „Application form for small grant“ and send both electronically to emb.tbilisi@mzv.sk and in hard copy to the Embassy of the Slovak Republic, Mtskheta str. 13, 0179, Tbilisi, Georgia by May 31, 2021.

Step 4:
After completing the project fill out:

- „Application for final report“
- „Application for financial report“
