Attention students and graduates

At the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia, an internship program for students and graduates in public institutions is being launched.

Applicants for internships can apply from September 1, 2025, inclusive, through the website administered by the Government Administration - www.hr.gov.ge.

An intern may be a capable citizen of Georgia who knows the state language, is studying at the first level of higher education (in the case of the graduating academic year), or at the second level, or has completed the first or second level of higher education in the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

The selection criterion was the academic performance of the applicant for internship (point system - 71-100 points and/or GPA - 2.7-4.0).

The competition will be held in two stages - selection of applications and interview. The person wishing to do the internship will be evaluated by a commission created by the head of the relevant public institution. In case of equal candidates, preference will be given to candidates with higher academic performance during the interview.

The selected candidates will undergo the internship from October 1 to December 31, 2025.

Internship in a public institution where work is considered public service will be counted as civil service experience, and internship in a public and/or private law legal entity within a public institution will be counted as general experience/work experience.
