Invited Lecturer

Sofiko Dzvarsheishvili is a scientific researcher at the department of human geography at the Vakhushti Bagrationi Institute of Geography at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and a PhD student at the faculty of economics and business of the same university. In 2001 she graduated from Mikhail Lomonosov Moscow State University, faculty of geography specialization of economic and social geography. Since 2007 she is working as a lecturer at public and private higher education institutions. Among others, she was an invited lecturer at the department of macroeconomics at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In recent years, Sofiko Dzhvarsheishvili was awarded a number of grants, funded by the European Commission program “Erasmus plus mobility for teaching”. Over periods of time, she was invited to give lectures at the faculties of economics and business administration at the Universities of Germany (Koblenz University of Applied Sciences), France (Catholic University de Lille) and Turkey (Afyon Kocatepe University).During 2011-2017, she was the manager of the double degree master’s program „Managing International Enterprises” between Friedrich Schiller Jena University (Germany) and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, faculty of economics and business; She has participated in numerous international conferences and has published a number of scientific papers.
