Professor Nona Gelitashvili's visit to Germany

From May 5 to 10, 2025, a delegation from Tbilisi Humanitarian University (THU) and East European University (EEU) visited the Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany. THU was represented by Professor Nona Gelitashvili, Head of the International Relations Office.

This visit followed the successful Georgian-German Summer School held in July 2024, jointly organized by all three universities. The Summer School marked a significant step toward strengthening institutional partnerships and advancing internationalization.

During the visit, the delegation held official meetings with University President Prof. Eva-Maria Beck-Meuth, Vice-President Ivo Schäfer, and members of the academic staff.
The discussions focused on expanding academic cooperation and exploring opportunities for joint educational projects.

In addition, representatives of both Georgian universities gave presentations to german students and faculty, promoting cross-cultural academic exchange. The visit concluded with a “Georgian Evening”, where participants had the chance to experience the richness of Georgian culture and traditions, including its cuisine.
