Memorandum of Cooperation between the Georgian Bar Association and THU

With the support of the Administrative Law Committee of the Georgian Bar Association (chaired by Prof. M. Salkhinashvili), a public lecture on the topic: “How to Become a Lawyer” was held on June 16, 2026 at Tbilisi Humanitarian University for students of the Bachelor of Law program. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Irakli Kandashvili, Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association.

Mr. Irakli spoke in detail about the main tasks and challenges of legal practice, as well as what steps should be taken to achieve success in this profession. The public lecture was held in an interactive format, with high interest and involvement of students.

During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Tbilisi Humanitarian University and the Georgian Bar Association, the aim of which is to support the implementation of the Bachelor of Law program, promote the development of practice-based legal skills, and strengthen the activities of the university legal clinic.
