The Dean of The Faculty of Law attended the EU Framework Information Day

On May 28, 2021, a joint event of the European Commission and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia was held, dedicated to the information day related to the EU framework program "Horizon Europe" in Georgia. The meeting was attended by Lia Chighlashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Tbilisi Humanitarian University.

The meeting organizers, including foreign counterparts, discussed the structure of the Horizon Europe program, funding schemes and participation opportunities, global challenges and industrial competition.

It was particularly interesting to discuss the various activities of the Mari-Skladowska Curie (MSCA), such as the Innovation Training Network (ITN), Individual Grants (IF), Research and Innovation Staff Exchange Programs (RISE), including regional, national and international programs. (COFUND).

The guests spoke specifically about the European Research Council (ERC) grants, the goal of expanding the program, the participation of less active research system members and associate states in research grants, increasing success, and implementing necessary reforms.
