On September 23, 2021, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Management - Prof. Nona Gelitashvili participated in the Second Online Symposium of the University of Applied Sciences in Aschaffenburg, a partner of the Tbilisi Humanitarian University, on "Designing the networks of universities and business in the field of tension between digital-hybrid and face-to-face events" (Symposium „Gestaltung der Netzwerke von Hochschule und Wirtschaft im Spannungsfeld von digital-hybriden und Präsenzveranstaltungen.“ Technische Hochschule Aschaffenburg).
Coronavirus-related restrictions in 2020-2021 led to significant changes in the activities of companies and universities, technological changes were made, which had a major impact on the educational formats of educational programs and the ways of their planning. The speakers presented the results of the research on the "First Digital Strategy" and future development orientation. Representatives of Munich, Aschaffenburg, Kiel, Würzburg, Bayreuth and other German universities took part in the symposium. From Georgia - Tbilisi Humanitarian University.
The last part of the symposium was dedicated to workshops, during which Prof. Nona Gelitashvili. The workshop was held in the format of discussion and group work. The symposium ended with a summary of the results obtained at the workshops and the sharing of knowledge gained by the participants during the pandemic, through their own experience in the field of hybrid-digital education.
