Professor Nona Gelitashvili Participated in an International Online Conference on Inclusion and Accessibility within the Erasmus+ Programme

On 3 July 2026, Professor Nona Gelitashvili, Head of the International Relations Service at Tbilisi Humanitarian University, participated in the international online conference “Dialogue Space – Inclusiveness and Accessibility within the Erasmus+ Programme”, organised by the National Erasmus+ Office in Georgia (NEO).

The conference was dedicated to one of the key horizontal priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme – inclusion and diversity. The event addressed the implementation of inclusive approaches in Erasmus+ projects, mechanisms for monitoring and assessing inclusion, the development of inclusive practices within Cooperation Partnerships, as well as the experiences and perspectives of National Agencies of EU Member States and National Erasmus+ Offices from the Eastern Partnership region.

During the conference, invited speakers from Spain, Lithuania, Germany, Armenia, Moldova, and Ukraine shared their expertise on the practical implementation of inclusion standards within the Erasmus+ Programme, addressing diverse needs of beneficiaries, monitoring and evaluation approaches during project implementation, and challenges and successful practices in different national contexts.

The conference provided an important international platform for dialogue, experience sharing, and cooperation among stakeholders involved and interested in the Erasmus+ Programme. Participants discussed opportunities for strengthening inclusive international cooperation and transferring European practices in the field of education.
