SALTO Education & Training TCA – International Opportunities for University Staff
Academic and administrative staff of the University are invited to participate in Training and Cooperation Activities (TCAs) organized within the framework of SALTO Education & Training TCA and supported by the Erasmus+ Programme.
SALTO Education & Training TCA is a platform supported by the European Commission that facilitates the planning, implementation, and follow-up of Training and Cooperation Activities (TCAs) organized by Erasmus+ National Agencies. The platform brings together international trainings, seminars, networking events, and thematic activities aimed at promoting knowledge exchange, professional development, and stronger cooperation within the European education and training community.
The activities are organized by Erasmus+ National Agencies and European partner organizations. Their main objectives are to develop professional competences, promote the exchange of best practices, and create new opportunities for international cooperation.
Who can participate?
TCA activities are designed for a wide range of participants, including:
Academic staff:
- Professors;
- Teachers;
- Trainers;
- Researchers.
Administrative staff:
- University leaders and managers;
- Staff working in the field of international relations;
- Education sector experts;
- Support staff.
Activities are available both for newcomers and for beneficiaries with previous experience in the Erasmus+ Programme.
What thematic areas are covered by the events?
The SALTO Education & Training TCA platform regularly updates a variety of events covering different areas, including:
- Higher Education (HE): internationalization, academic cooperation, women in STEM fields, cultural and creative projects, and other related topics;
- Digital Transformation and Innovation: the use of artificial intelligence in education, development of digital skills, and new technologies;
- Environment and Climate Change: green projects, sustainable development, and ecological initiatives;
- Inclusion and Diversity: promotion of equal opportunities and support for people with fewer opportunities in education;
- Civic Engagement and Democratic Values: promotion of European values and active citizenship.
Format and Venue
The events are organized in different formats:
- Face-to-Face: held in various European cities;
- Online: conducted virtually;
- Blended/Hybrid: combining online and in-person participation.
